In other action this week, the Varsity Softball bounced back after a narrow 5-4 loss at California the previous day to claim a 9-2 victory over Mt. Eden the very next day on Friday, April 9th. The win over the Monarchs was the team’s final tune-up before their EBAL season opener on April 20th at home against Granada. The JV Baseball also got into the win column on April 9th for the first time this season, knocking off California 4-3 after a complete game pitching performance by Reed Gaynor. The Varsity Baseball team came up just short in their contest against the Grizzlies, losing 3-2 on a play at the plate for the final out.
