The Dublin High School Varsity Football team is slated to kick off their football season with their season and home opener against Heritage on Friday, August 27th. This will be the first of a record 7 home games taking place this season at Gaels Stadium. Game times all season long are 4:30 p.m. for Junior Varsity and 7:00 p.m. for Varsity.
Admission is free for adults with a DHS Digital Sports pass and those students with an ASB sticker
For those purchasing tickets, we are going cashless this season. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time on our website or by using the QR code at the entrance gate. Student and Senior Citizen Tickets are $5.00, while Adult General Admission tickets are $8.00
Following a spring season which crowds were limited to immediate households only, Dublin High Athletics is pleased to announce that at the present time there are no plans to limit crowd capacities this season. In addition, unlike last season where the Stadium was cleared between games, tickets or passes are good for admission to both the JV and Varsity contests. Masks and vaccinations are still encouraged along with practicing good hygiene to help keep everyone healthy and safe.
Future nonleague home games on the schedule this year include Castro Valley (September 3rd), games against local EBAL opponents from the Mountain Division (Amador Valley on September 10th and California on October 1st), and the return of former head coach Matt Hoefs as he brings perennial powerhouse Liberty to Dublin on September 24th). Our two official home league contests in the EBAL Valley Division are Foothill on October 22nd (Homecoming) and Dougherty Valley on November 5th (Senior Night). Links to purchase tickets for future games will be posted the Monday prior on our Athletics website at www.dublingaels.com.
The official media partner of Dublin High School Athletics is GaelsTV. For those of you unable to attend in person, GaelsTV will be live-streaming all home games throughout the season at www.gaelstv.com. Updates can also be found on our ScoreVision Fan App and on twitter at @Dublin_Gaels.
Following a 2019 season which only allowed Dublin High to host 2 football games due to the installation of new turf, and a spring 2021 season shortened to just 2 home football games due to the pandemic, we are excited to bring Friday Night Lights back in a big way with such a robust slate of home games this season. We look forward to seeing you out there. Go Gaels!
