The Dublin High School Varsity Girls Tennis and Volleyball teams both came up short in dramatic, heart-breaking fashion in their respective matches on Tuesday, September 14th.
Hosting Carondelet in tennis, the Gaels jumped out to a 4-2 advantage before losing their final three matches to fall to the Cougars 5-4. In volleyball action at Granada, Dublin led 4-0 at the outset of the 5th set before ultimately falling to the Matadors 15-13 in the match’s decisive set.
Both teams drop back to .500 on the season (tennis 2-2 and volleyball 4-4). They are back at home on Thursday, September 16th with the tennis team hosting San Ramon Valley at 4:00 and the volleyball team hosting Foothill starting at 6:00.
