Dublin High School Varsity Football team’s senior quarterback Anthony Armendariz was officially nominated by the staff of the Bay Area News Group as its Male Athlete of the Week following his performance in Dublin’s 37-14 victory over perennial powerhouse Liberty on September 24th.
Armendariz completed 6 of 10 passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 67 yards and a TD in eight carries to help the Gaels improve to 4-1 at the season’s midway point.
