Another team which has showcased defensive dominance this season is the Varsity Girls Basketball team. They also capped a successful week by going 2-1 on the road, including a 39-26 win over Foothill on Saturday night. The win over the Falcons was also the 8th time this season that the Gaels have held their opponents under 30 points. Dublin bolstered its chances of making NCS by improving their record to 10-8 overall. The Gaels return home this week to face Monte Vista (February 1st) before concluding the regular season with Senior Night in the Sports Complex against Dougherty Valley (February 3rd).
The Varsity Boys Soccer team also has two home contests this week in Gaels Stadium against Granada on February 1st followed by Senior Night versus San Ramon Valley on February 3rd.
