Gearing Up for Spring Sports Season

Despite the fact that we have just begun the East Bay Athletic League season in many of our winter sports, the spring sports season is set to begin in a matter of weeks at Dublin High School.

The first official day of try-outs in most sports is on Monday, February 6th. All student-athletes wishing to try out for a Spring sport must be cleared ahead of time by going through www.athleticclearance.com and following the prompts. One of the key elements necessary to be cleared is to upload an updated physical. Students must also be academically eligible by having at least a 2.0 grade point average and no more than one F.

Although information on the first day of try-outs or practice will be posted as the dates approach, all student-athletes interested in playing a Spring sport are encouraged to contact the Varsity Head Coach ahead of time to express their intent. Many teams have much more detailed and specific information that everyone needs to be aware of ahead of time. In addition, most teams are engaged in some type of preseason strength ad conditioning workouts in the weeks leading up to the start of the season.

The list of Spring sports slated to begin along with the contact information for the Coaches of each program are as follows:
