The Dublin High School Varsity Boys Basketball team will be making its 6th consecutive appearance in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Tournament, as they were selected as the #12 seed in the Division 1 NorCal bracket. Dublin will travel to face #5 seed Inderkum (27-3) of Sacramento on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00.
Inderkum is actually a familiar opponent for Dublin, as the two teams squared off in the season opening “NorCal Tipoff Classic” on November 26th at the Dublin High Sports Complex. The game was close throughout, but the Gaels fell to the Tigers 68-65.
Tickets for Tuesday’s CIF 1st Round contest are $9 for Adults and $5 for Students, Children, and Senior Citizens and can be purchased here. The entire CIF Division 1 Bracket can be viewed here. For those unable to make the trip to Sacramento, the live-stream can be viewed on the NFHS Network using this link: https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/events/cif/gam1bf6a3cfec
If Dublin wins, it will either go on the road to face Archbishop Riordan of San Francisco or host Campolindo on Thursday, March 2nd.
