Fall Sports Athletic Season Begins August 7th – Here are the Steps to be Cleared to Participate

The start of the Fall Sports Athletic season is less than two weeks away, and all-student athletes wishing to play a sport must be cleared to try out. Sports that will be offered starting on August 7th include Boys and Girls Water Polo, Cross Country, Football, Girls Flag Football, Girls Golf, Girls Tennis, and Girls Volleyball.

The steps in order to be cleared are listed below. If you have any questions, contact Kelly Hessler at hesslerkelly@dublinusd.org, (925) 833-3300×7105, or visit her in person during office hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) in Student Activities.

STEP 1: VISIT ATHLETICCLEARANCE.COM: Choose “CA”. Log into account. Returning Users log into their existing account while New Users need to create an account. Type in school and confirm address. Select year and add sports. If you are participating in multiple sports use the “Add New Sport” button and create clearances for each sport.

STEP 2: COMPLETE ALL REQUIRED FIELDS: Student Information, Parent/Guardian Information, Medical History, Signature Forms, and upload any files. Student Info and Parent Guardian Info. Type in Student and Parent/Guardian information. This information will be saved for future clearances. Utilize the dropdown menu to autofill information for subsequent clearances. Sign required documents by typing in an EXACT match of what is on the Student and Parent/Guardian page. Click “+” to add a file. Browse from your computer for the file or select Choose Existing File to search for a previously uploaded file. Make sure to click Save and Continue after completing the files page to submit.
