The Dublin High School Athletic Boosters celebrated 5 student-athletes from the Class of 2024 who committed on National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing Day on November 8th, which is the first day permissible by the NCAA for graduating seniors to officially sign with a college or university.
The students who signed last Wednesday at the lunchtime reception in the Dublin High School Sports Complex included Softball player Tanaya Barrett (Ohio State), Swimmer Kaitlin Lee (Georgetown), Lacrosse player Nolan Flynn (Aurora), Soccer player Gianna Masinter (Point Loma), and Gymnast Amy Fukami (Michigan).
It is anticipated that many other student-athletes will sign throughout the year, and as they do the Boosters will host similar lunchtime receptions to celebrate their accomplishments with family members, friends, and teammates. At the end of the year, all student-athletes who will be continuing their athletic career at the next level (including community college) will be honored together.
On average, Dublin High School has 25-30 student-athletes who compete collegiately upon graduation, and we expect this year to be no exception. Dublin High School is proud to provide opportunities for our student-athletes to be recognized, and looks forward to celebrating these students for their hard work and accomplishments.
