Winter Sports Roundup: Wrestling Senior Night, Big Win for Boys Basketball

The first Senior Night celebration is set to take place this week, as the Wrestling program will honor those competing in their final home Dual Meet against Livermore this Wednesday, January 17th in the Sports Complex. The recognition will take place in between the JV and Varsity matches at approximately 7:00 p.m. Dublin is looking to bounce back from a narrow home loss last week to Foothill.

The other marquee event taking place this week on campus is a Varsity Boys Basketball home tripleheader against De La Salle on Friday, January 19th (4:30/6:00/7:30). All three teams posted impressive road victories at Monte Vista last week, with the Varsity team jumping out to a big early lead en route to a 55-44 win. Dublin also defeated Livermore on Silent Night on Tuesday, as they head into the showdown with the Spartans with a mark of 16-3 overall (2-0 EBAL).

In other home action this week, Girls Basketball and Boys Soccer will host Foothill TONIGHT (Tuesday, January 16th), while Girls Soccer has a home match against Carondelet on Thursday, January 18th. Despite losing to Monte Vista on Friday, the Varsity Girls Basketball team also posted victories against Livermore and Freedom to improve to 12-5 overall.
