The brackets were announced by the North Coast Section for the Division 1 Soccer and Basketball tournaments, and Dublin’s Boys and Girls Basketball teams and the Gaels’ Girls Soccer team all qualified.
Dublin High School will be hosting an NCS Basketball doubleheader on Tuesday, February 13th with the 8th-seeded Girls team tipping off against Clayton Valley at 5:30 followed by the 3rd seeded Boys team against 14th-seeded James Logan which is slated to start at 7:00.
The Girls’ game is a rematch of a game from earlier this season when Dublin came out on top 51-42. If Dublin prevails, they will travel to face the top seed California, a team which Dublin fell to in the final week of the regular season.
On the Boys’ side, Dublin has not faced James Logan this season. If Dublin wins, they will host the NCS Quarterfinals on Friday, February 16th at 7:00 p.m. against the winner of the Campolindo-College Park contest.
Dublin’s Girls Soccer team also earned a bid into the North Coast Section Division 1 Tournament. The Gaels are the 12th seed and will go on the road to face Castro Valley in a Valentine’s Day matchup at 7:00. The two teams played earlier this season, with the Trojans defeating the Gaels 1-0. With a victory, Dublin will either travel to face #4 San Ramon Valley or host #13 Liberty on Saturday, February 17th.
Tickets for all of the action can be purchased on the Dublin High Athletics GoFan page starting Monday.
