Two golfers from Dublin High School and one golfer from Emerald High School recently competed in the North Coast Section Division 2 Championship tournament at Peacock Gap Golf Course in San Rafael on Monday. All three golfers – Dario Diaz and Darsh Patel from Dublin along with Aryan Sengupt of Emerald qualified after their top performances in the recently concluded East Bay Athletic League tournament.
Diaz shot a 74 to advance to next Monday’s NCS Division 1 Championship event at Tilden Golf Course in Berkeley. Diaz is looking to make the CIF NorCal Tournament and ultimately the CIF State event.
Patel shot an 81 and Sengupt shot an 85 in their final event of the season.
