Dublin High School Hires Robert Olson as New Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach

Dublin High School is pleased to announce that Robert Olson will be taking over as the new Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach. Coach Olson will be replacing John Morrison who stepped down after the season due to work obligations after a successful run which saw the Gaels compile multiple North Coast Section playoff appearances and victories.

Coach Olson has had success internationally, at the collegiate level, at the high school level, and at the club level. Olson began his coaching career with the San Jose Earthquakes Academy in 2013, and has had other impressive stops with the Football Association of Ireland as well as with Los Medanos College and San Joaquin Delta College. In his six seasons as a high school coach, Olson helped guide both Northgate and Castro Valley High Schools to NCS playoff berths.

Currently, Olson is serving as the Director of Coaching for the Dublin United Soccer League. For questions about upcoming summer and fall workouts and tryouts in November, he can be reached at robertmolson91@gmail.com
