For the first time in school history, Dublin High School Athletics will be offering a Varsity Girls Beach Volleyball team that will compete in the East Bay Athletic League and against other schools with programs throughout the North Coast Section. While Dublin High has offered it as a club sport in the past, this will be the first year that it is offered as an official sport where participants can earn Varsity letters.
The Head Coach will be Kevin Kramer, who also is the Varsity Head Coach for the Girls indoor team that competes in the fall. Beach Volleyball will be a spring sport, with practices and matches tentatively scheduled to take place at Fallon Sports Park.
Any girls interested in playing on the team needs to first be cleared by going to www.athleticclearance.com and following the prompts. Tryouts are slated to begin the week of February 10-14, and all those who have additional questions or wish to try out should contact Coach Kramer at coachkkramer@gmail.com.
