The Dublin High School Varsity Boys Basketball Team and Dance Team will be celebrating Senior Night TONIGHT (Friday, January 31st) against Granada.
Ceremonies honoring the 9 seniors on the Varsity Boys Basketball team will be conducted immediately following the Junior Varsity game (which will likely conclude between 7:00-7:15). The Varsity game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. At halftime of the Varsity game, the 5 seniors on the Dance team will be honored. After the ceremony there will be a special halftime performance by the Dance team.
Dublin reached the illustrious 20-win milestone on Tuesday night with a 58-52 win at Amador Valley to improve to 20-3 on the season. The Gaels are sitting at 4-2 in the East Bay Athletic League and are 1 game back in the loss column behind a logjam of teams with one league loss (De La Salle, Dougherty Valley, San Ramon Valley, California). However, Dublin is ranked 4th in the North Coast Section in the Maxpreps rankings, which is the primary determining factor for NCS playoff seeding. If the season ended today, the Gaels would advance to the NCS Open Division and an automatic berth in the CIF State playoffs.
