Busy Week at Gaels Stadium with 3 Boys Home Lacrosse Games and Senior Day for Track and Field

It will definitely be one of the busiest weeks of the year at Gaels Stadium, as the campus plays host to three boys home lacrosse games, two senior nights, and a brand new track and field event.

The action starts on Tuesday, April 29th as Boys Lacrosse hosts Foothill. The following evening, the Boys Lacrosse program will be having its Senior Night celebration prior to hosting Moreau Catholic in a nonleague matchup on April 30th. Dublin concludes its season by hosting Dougherty Valley on Friday, May 2nd. All games begin at 7:00.

Dublin’s Boys Lacrosse team has been making steady improvement throughout the year, as evidenced by a 7-3 loss to the East Bay Athletic League Valley Division’s top team Granada (13-2, 8-0). The Gaels fell to the Matadors 2-15 earlier in the season, yet trailed just 3-5 late in last Wednesday’s contest.

The week concludes with the Track and Field program hosting a brand new event – The Last Chance PR Invitational, on Saturday, May 3rd. This comes on the heels of hosting the long-established NorCal Frosh Soph Championships, an event stretching over 10 hours that brings together the best underclassman in the sport.

Following the conclusion of the Last Chance PR Invitational, Dublin High will be honoring its seniors and is treating the inaugural event as this year’s “Senior Day”. Saturday’s event will also be the final tune-up for the program as it gears up for championship season starting with the EBAL Track Meet on May 9-10.
