Successful Showing for Dublin Badminton at NCS and CIF

Dublin High School’s student-athletes successfully competed at North Coast Section (NCS) Championship events in Badminton and Track and Field this weekend. Multiple athletes advanced to compete in the next round of events.

In the NCS Badminton Championships at Washington High School, Angelina Wu and Sahasra Gajula took 2nd place and earned a spot in next weekend’s California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Northern California Regional Tournament at Independence High School in San Jose. Kevin Sun and Isabella Meng also advanced to CIF NorCal event after finishing in 6th place at NCS.

At Saturday’s CIF NorCal Tournament, Wu and Gajula completed their banner season with a 4th place finish overall, making it one of the highest finishes for the program in school history.
