The Dublin High School Swim Team continued an unbeaten streak that has been intact since before the pandemic. Dublin edged out Foothill 330-329 in the combined team score, and the squad has yet to lose a meet since 2019. Other teams that finished the past week on a high note include Baseball, Boys Volleyball, and Boys Lacrosse.
The Baseball team went on the road to defeat Amador Valley 9-4 and improve its record to 6-4-1 overall heading into a week with road games at Foothill and Livermore. Boys Volleyball improved to an identical 6-4 record after closing out the week with impressive 3-1 victories over both Foothill and Livermore. The Boys Lacrosse team notched a 10-8 road win over Livermore to improve to 4-4 overall.
Track and Field also had a great week with impressive showings in both its dual meet at Amador Valley and the Bella Vista meet in Sacramento. Brandon Burns ran a North Coast Section leading and personal best 22.03 200 meters at our dual meet versus rival Amador Valley last Wednesday, March 23, 2022. At the same meet, he was also a relay member of our 4×400 meters relay team that crossed the line in s DHS record 3:24.31. Jathiyah Muhammad also achieved a milestone by breaking both a DHS and Meet Record with a 13’7″ mark in the pole vault.
Looking ahead to this week, Tuesday, March 29th will be a busy day with multiple teams in action with home contests. The Golf team tees off against Foothill at its home course (San Ramon Golf Course) at 3:00, followed by the Boys Tennis team taking the courts against Livermore and Badminton at home in the Auxiliary Gym against Quarry Lane later that afternoon at 4:00. The evening concludes with Girls Lacrosse hosting College Park at 7:00. The week’s home events concludes on with Boys Volleyball hosting Livermore on Thursday, March 31st at 6:00 and Boys Lacrosse at home against Foothill at 7:00 on Friday, April 1st.
