For those unable to attend tonight’s Dublin High School Varsity Home Football game against Livermore in-person, it is being broadcast live on Tri-Valley Community Television (TV30). The broadcast will begin with a pre-game show at 6:45 with kickoff scheduled to take place at approximately 7:00. There will be a halftime and postgame show as part of the broadcast as well. For those who live outside of the Tri-Valley that wish to follow the action, it will be shown at www.tv30.org.
Even for those in attendance or unable to watch the game live, the game will be available on the TV30 website. Since TV30 is broadcasting the game, it will not be shown on GaelsTV or the Dublin High Athletics website.
For those wishing to attend tonight’s game in-person, admission is free to all athletic events with a DHS Digital Sports pass and/or an ASB sticker. For those purchasing tickets, the Dublin High School GoFan page for all events is here.
Dublin comes into the game 4-4 overall and 0-2 in the East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) following two close losses to Granada (21-28) and Foothill (22-28 in OT). Livermore comes in with a mark of 7-1 overall and 1-1 in EBAL. The Cowboys defeated the Gaels 17-16 last season. The Gaels need to win their final two games to have a shot at being selected for the North Coast Section playoffs.
Other highlights for this evening include Senior Night recognitions. There are 26 seniors on the football team, 27 seniors on the cheer squad, and over 30 seniors who participate in the marching band and color guard who will be honored. The seniors on the football team will be honored immediately following the conclusion of the Junior Varsity football game (around 6:20/6:30), while the seniors in cheer, band, and color guard will be honored at halftime. There will also be a joint halftime performance of seniors in cheer, band, and color guard.
