TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES POST MARKS NEAR TOP OF NCS

There was a lot of anticipation heading into the season for the Dublin High School Track and Field program.

For starters, there were several enhancements made over the summer and fall to the Stadium and other athletic facilities at DHS specifically tailored to accommodate the growth and increasing success of the program. Our Girls’ Varsity team were looking to defend its back-to-back EBAL titles. Second, with the rising competitiveness of our Boys Varsity team in recent years, they were looking to make their own run at an EBAL championship (slated to be hosted at DHS). In addition, for the first time in the 102-year history of the North Coast Section/CIF, the NCS decided to move its vaunted Meet of Champions to a high school facility by agreeing to have the meet at DHS over Memorial Weekend.

Although some of these team milestones were unable to reached due to COVID-19, there are a number of individual performances and records set during the course of the shortened season that deserve recognition.

Fire and foremost, we need to recognize the Seniors who have participated in the Track and Field program all 4 years….they are as follows:
