Due to the rising number of COVID cases caused by the omicron variant, today’s Varsity Girls Home Soccer match vs. Livermore has been postponed. Considering that there was not a Varsity match taking place, it was also decided to push the start time of today’s JV match to a 6:00 p.m. primetime affair under the lights.
The Varsity Girls match between the Gaels and the Cowboys has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 12th at 4:00 p.m. Since this is the last date of the regular season, the contest will also now become Senior Day with recognitions taking place before the match at 3:30. In other scheduling news, a previously postponed Varsity Girls match at Castro Valley has also been rescheduled for this Saturday, January 29th at 1:00 p.m.
Dublin is currently 9-4-2 overall and 3-3-1 in East Bay Athletic League action. Their next match will be at Foothill on Thursday, January 27th, the team’s third away contest amidst a difficult stretch of 6 consecutive matches on the road before finishing the season with three home contests. Dublin’s next match at Gaels Stadium will be on Tuesday, February 8th against Monte Vista (6:00).
